Do You Need to Make an Appointment At Assure or Can You Walk In?
Assure Women’s Center offers free pregnancy testing six days a week. The hours available include evening and weekend hours at our two locations in Omaha (65th and Sorensen and just south of Oakview Mall, near 144th and F Streets.)
A question that is often asked is if women can just walk in or if they need to make an appointment. The answer to both questions is “yes.” However, it is strongly recommended that an appointment is made.
Assure has a limited number of appointment times available. If the pregnancy test is positive, an ultrasound is also offered. To accomplish both requires about an hour’s time. Many days our Centers are full to capacity, making it difficult to fit in someone who walks in without an appointment, even though we make every effort to do so.
In order to ensure that you can come to all of our locations and be seen as quickly as possible, it is best to make an appointment by calling the Helpline at 402-397-0600. It is not necessary to make appointments more than a week in advance. Most of the time, you should be able to be seen on the same day you call.
